My husband and I had a truly wonderful experience at Anantara Veli during our babymoon in the Maldives. The beautiful overwater villas, peaceful atmosphere, breathtaking surroundings, and exceptional hospitality made our stay incredibly special. We initially booked four nights but enjoyed ourselves so much that we extended our holiday for another three nights at Anantara Dhigu! A very special and heartfelt thank you goes to Ibrahim, our villa host, who was truly one of the highlights of our stay. He was exceptionally kind, thoughtful, attentive, and always went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect for us. What made Ibrahim particularly special was his genuine warmth and sincerity. He anticipated our needs, was always happy to help, and made us feel as though our happiness and comfort genuinely mattered to him. His dedication went far beyond simply providing excellent service, and it was these thoughtful, personal touches that made such a lasting impression. Anantara is incredibly fortunate to have someone like Ibrahim representing its hospitality. We are sincerely grateful for everything he did to make our babymoon unforgettable. Being pregnant, I particularly appreciated the extra consideration shown by the team. They ensured my comfort, accommodated my dietary requirements, and took special care that the food I was having was suitable during pregnancy. These thoughtful gestures allowed my husband and me to relax and fully enjoy our babymoon. Our favorite dining experience was undoubtedly Baan Huraa, the Thai restaurant. It was where we had our very first dinner in the Maldives, and we loved it so much that we returned for our final dinner! The food, atmosphere, and service were exceptional. A special mention goes to Fadia at Baan Huraa, who was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. She has such a sweet and lovely personality, and her genuine kindness made us feel instantly at ease, as though we were being welcomed by a friend rather than simply dining at a restaurant. Her thoughtful hospitality made our dining experiences even more memorable. We also thoroughly enjoyed Origami, which was another excellent dining choice. What truly made Anantara Veli special was the people. Every team member we encountered demonstrated genuine kindness, professionalism, and care, making us feel valued and well looked after. A heartfelt thank you to Ibrahim, Fadia, and the entire Anantara Veli team for making our babymoon so memorable. We left with beautiful memories and would absolutely love to return.
