Our stay at Anantara Ubud was faultless from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we felt so well looked after, and being upgraded to a stunning pool villa made the experience even more special. The setting was beautiful, the service impeccable, and the rooms were incredibly clean and well maintained. We also loved the wellness-focused options in the minibar. Being able to organise room cleaning and request anything we needed through the app was such a thoughtful touch and made the whole stay effortless and enjoyable. A huge thank you to the entire Anantara team for making our first visit to Bali so special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back!
A perfect oasis

#1 which makes this a special hotel is that is is far away from the madding crowds in Ubud and elsewhere in Bali. It is a proverbial oasis. Even walking outside the property leads to only small local villages. No tourists in sight. The facility might present some challenges for those physically challenged - because of the layout of the rooms - but the calm and what the hotel offers makes up for that. Especially commendable is the exceptional breakfast and the wait staff. Lovely spa too.
