My friends and I recently visited Anantara Santorini Retreat Abu Dhabi to celebrate my birthday and my friend Jessica’s, and we had a truly wonderful, memorable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The entire team went above and beyond to make our celebration special, and we are incredibly grateful for the exceptional service and thoughtful effort everyone put into making our visit so memorable. A very special thank you to Sami, Rose, Ahmed, and the entire team for their outstanding service, kindness, and attention to detail. Their genuine care and willingness to go the extra mile made us feel truly valued and ensured that both birthday celebrations were extra special. It is often the people who make a place unforgettable, and this was certainly the case for us. Every thoughtful gesture, warm smile, and little detail contributed to an experience that we will remember fondly for a long time. We left feeling incredibly grateful and thankful for the wonderful memories we created together. Anantara Santorini Retreat Abu Dhabi is a beautiful destination, but it is the amazing team that truly makes it stand out. This is a gorgeous adults only boutique hotel on a stunning beach of crystal clear water, right at the border of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It’s secluded and peaceful with only 22 rooms. A perfect place to go if you want calm and relaxation. Before we even arrived, our assigned Butler Fernando WhatsApped us asking if there was anything special that we needed. Upon arrival we were greeted as we drove to the main reception and for the entire trip we were treated as if we were VIP guests. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. Complementary water, soft drinks, tea, and Nespresso coffee are available in the room as well and replenished every day. We were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday, so they kindly decorated the room. They also had a small surprise where the staff sang him happy birthday with guitars and tambourines and did a short video for him. It was screened in the magnificent cinema on the property. They have a small state of the art movie Theatre with 24 large luxury lounge sofa/bed beds. They screen a movie every night and it’s truly incredible. The spa is amazing with a cold plunge pool and steam rooms. The gym is huge and fully kitted out with everything you could need and more. Everything about this hotel screams luxury from the bed linens to the bed itself and pillows, super soft bathrobes and slippers as well as the loungers by the pool and the beach where they provide you with small personal coolers filled with ice and water that is constantly replenished as well. What really makes it a five star experience, however, is the staff who work there. They are the reason that makes this hotel so special. I wish I wrote down all the names of the people we interacted with of course our butler Fernando, who was available at any time and answered our messages within seconds, as well as the lovely ladies at breakfast Rose and Regina, the lifeguard at the beach Willington, the housekeeping team and all the other people who I don’t have their names but contributed to making the entire experience luxury at its best.
